You are our client, not your money and because of this, we feel we really need to get to know about you before we have the right to talk about your money.

That’s why at our first meeting, you will find that our discussions are about your you, your hopes and dreams and what it really is that you want out of life before we move on to finding out about the resources that you have to work with to make these dreams become a reality.

Once we compete this, we work on the framework of your financial plan and go through this with you, adjusting where necessary to make sure we clear in our aims and objectives.

At this point, if you wish to become a client of Ruby Red Financial Planning, we make the necessary recommendations and implement the plan you’re your behalf.

Going forward, we meet regularly to ensure that your plan remains on track for success, making adjustments where necessary.

Most importantly, we keep you accountable to your plan and make sure that you are doing the right things, at the right times, for the right reasons.

Discovering more about each other

At our first meeting, it really is an opportunity for us to get to know more about each other and see if we would be a good fit working together going forwards. It is very much to understand your hopes and dreams gong forwards and for us to understand why these things are important to you, so we can make sure that if you decide to become a client, we really know what we are trying to achieve for you.


Gathering the Information

Once we have established what we are trying to achieve, we now need to establish where you are now, what resources we have available at this moment in time, what resources may become available at some point in the future and also, consider what resources we may NEED to become available in unforeseen circumstances. We’ll then examine your overall situation and begin to put together the basis of your financial masterplan.


Creating your Financial Masterplan

Now we have all of the information needed, we will create a bespoke personal plan around you and your financial priorities. This will include a detailed cashflow plan too which really helps visualise your financial future. We’ll then present it to you in person and discuss our recommendations thoroughly to ensure you understand any costs, risks and tax implications.


Implementing your Financial Masterplan

If you decide to go ahead with our proposed financial masterplan, we’ll put this into action. We’ll take away the stress of paperwork and administration by dealing with the providers directly and keep you informed as all the pieces start to fall into place


Regularly reviewing your Financial Masterplan

It is important to meet regularly (most likely annually) to ensure that you remain on course for success. However, we understand that the plan may evolve over time and we may need to make adjustments for new goals or a change of desired lifestyle in the future. Each year, we will therefore review your financial masterplan and also complete our 12 step financial health check to ensure your finances are as organised as possible and you are making the most of the available allowances / exemptions.
